Museums

New York City is home to a number of museums for all likes and tastes, many of them world famous. What better way to spend the summer for a tourist or local alike than to check out these beutiful landmarks throughout the city without the hassles or worries of getting there or parking your own transportation. If you or your kids are into plants or animals there are the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens, Central Park Zoo and Wildlife Gallery or the Bronx Zoo. If you're into airplanes and other military memorabilia than the Intrepid would be a perfect place for you to visit. Of course there is the Madame Tussaud's museum of wax celebrities, or the controversial Museum of Sex for those old enough to appreciate it.

The Guggenheim Museum is perhaps the most unique design of them all and great departure from traditional buildings found everywhere else. Of course you can't come to New York and not visit the Museum of Modern Art for the latest in the artistic world. There's even a Ukrainian Museum for those longing to find out more about their heritage or to learn something new about different cultures.
