On July 4th, 1776 the US of A claimed its independence from Great Britain. Elsewhere, the Roosevelt Island's July 4th Fireworks Festival includes the amazing fireworks display in addition to many family activities like face painting, games, music, and a variety of foods/BBQ's for everyone's enjoyment.
