I love spa treatments, but I hate the drive home that completely undoes all the relaxation. A friend told me about this website, WWW.SPARTIES.COM. They specialize in on-site mobile spa services and create an entire day spa inside your own home! TOO COOL!
I tried them out for my sister’s bridal shower and...OH my god this REALLY is coolest thing I’ve ever done! The people from SPArties totally turned my home into a spa. I was amazed when I walked in… It REALLY looked and felt like a spa. They had roses everywhere, it smelled awesome - soft soothing music, and they gave us each these cute little goodie bags with robes and slippers for all my guests to keep! They even had a red carpet for us to walk down on the way to our services, which, by the way, were TOTALLY awesome…We each had full body massages and this other cool thing with neck wraps and eye masks that was really relaxing. You have got to check out SPArties – the really are proof that prayers are answered!
 

I've went to a hideaway type of spa in Brooklyn's Clinton Hill section called Body By Brooklyn. I was a bit skeptical traveling all the way to Brooklyn (I live in New Jersey) but I must say I loved every minute of it! The place was clean, large and comfortably spaced. Recently I've been interested in obtaining information on spas and wellness centers to treat my girlfriend and mother for a day of extreme relaxation. One of my search criteria for doing this was that I wanted a wide array of spa treatments for them to choose from, and I also wanted to spend my hard earned money on an organization that was environmentally conscience. I am not too knowledgeable on the industry, however I found one organization that seems to be doing all the right things.
Eden Organix is an exciting new luxury apothecary, spa, & wellness center. Their mission is to combine a lifestyle of healthy living and environmental awareness with a desire for physical, mental, & spiritual renewal. Sounds good so far, but I know, nothing stands out as of yet.
In my opinion there are 3 things that make Eden Organix something worth blogging about. First, the services they offer are aimed at the wellbeing of their clients, not generating profits at the expense of their customers (which tends to happen in the alternative health industry). Second, they are a socially responsible organization, donating 10% of all profits to organizations that assist women, children, and the environment. Third, their focus on using only natural & organic products, along with building their locations using sustainable methods and using green products throughout, truly exemplifies the fact that they are an environmentally conscience organization. In fact, there is no aspect of Eden Organix that is not as green as possible!
The organization’s corporate social responsibilities include: encouraging their customers to recognize their strength and beauty, and to live a fruitful life of passion and purpose; to provide customers with the total mind, body, spirit, and soul experience; to educate customers about creating a sustainable environmental economy; and to create human capitol through scholarships to underprivileged women.
To touch on the services offered at Eden Organix, they offer exclusive beauty products, all of which are 100% all natural or organic. They consist wholly of mineral makeup, organic, natural, and botanical skin care. The spa provides the essential spa services such as message therapy, body wraps, hair removal, makeup artistry and facials. In addition, while visiting Eden Organix one may choose to partake in the following wellness services: image consulting, life coaching, nutritional and naturopathic health practitioner services.
Now I don't frequent spas and wellness centers, but with all the information on Eden Organix that I've come across, I think I might be joining my girlfriend and mother! I feel that an organization should be as environmentally friendly as possible, and should have a responsibility to the community in which they are conducting business. If you feel the same, then I'm sure that you would fine Eden Organix as appealing as I do. On the other hand, if you enjoy being pampered with the spa industries newest and most effective techniques, or if you may be interested in exclusive beauty products then I feel that Eden Organix is for you as well! I find it kind of amazing that one may visit a single location and receive numerous spa treatments, purchase 100% all natural or organic exclusive beauty products, and see a nutritionist all within an hour or two!
I also found that Eden Organix will be launching their website at the www.GoGreenExpo.com in New York City on April 25-27. I will be in attendance to show my support for an new organization who's values I believe in (not to mention my two favorite ladies, my girlfriend and my mother, or already 100% on board with Eden Organix).
